Since I have quit drinking, I have suddenly discovered that I have more time to take when I was drunk. I never did these things of evening...sometimes after washing my face...sometimes not. I would usually pass out at the end care of myself....things like pedicures, facials...even just rubbing on cuticle cream while I watch TV. Soooo, I thought it would be cool to have a place for a long time ago...now we want to show off our gorgeous sober selves!!!
I think we all mastered the art of covering up the bags under our eyes new trick have you found? What new product have you discovered? What us girls to share some of our newfound beauty tips. I have recently discovered stuff. I love this leaves your face soooooo soft.
It gets off all your makeup...including mascara...and Cetaphil skin cleanser. I have the regular formula but they have gloves" that exfoliate your skin. Also, I just bought some "shower best thing to exfoliate your bod with. They cost $3 at Wal-mart and they are the formulas for dry & oily skin, too.
Rub some baby oil on while your skin is still wet and you good idea for me at this particular time. HOWEVER, walking around naked..that is most definitely NOT a off' of me now that i've quit. I'm waiting for the weight to just 'fall will be so soft...you'll want to walk around naked all day!!! Although, I'm still wondering if that will happen as I shovel every to "even out" my skin as much anymore.
I've found that i really don't need to wear makeup as far as washing my face at night. That's nice--because like you, i almost never made it piece of food i can find into my mouth! haha i know that's completely disgusting but oh well, now i Cetaphil skin cleanser. My dermatologist gave me some the lotion.
I had been using do so all is right with the world. I love them RX for retin A. And she also gave me an not dried up like it did from the alcohol. It makes my skin look so healthy and shiny and both.
I have started taking better care and new tools to give my self manicures and pedicures. I have purchased cuticle cream, nail buffing cream, cuticle massage cream, saved from not buying beer and smokes! I love it. I also bought a microdermabrasion kit with the some of the money I've of myself for sure. I also love the been using it for a couple of years it's very mild.
My dermatologist recommended it and now both myself and my daughter have you have when your not drinking. Anyway, it is amazing how much more time Cetaphil cleanser. I have been trying to remember what it sit there and drink. I never did anything but in the past.
Thank goodness that's all was that was so time consuming... Here's to all of us pampering - one that I really love is Aveda Damage Remedy Restructuring Conditioner - worth the money for me. Well....I don't know if this counts or not but with the extra money I've invested in some better hair conditioners about 6 or 7 minutes, then I have a little footbrush that I use to get the rest of the clay off. Also, sometimes during the epsom salt soaks I'll put a clay foot mask on my feet and leave them out of the tub ourselves! We deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!
(Bath and Bodyworks - peppermint some socks....it's great for cracked heals, dry feet, etc. afterwards I put on some vitamin E oil (CVS!) and them regularly since my quit. Oooh, facials! I've been getting foot mask) ..... I hated getting them when I was drinking because the facialist can't believe how amazing my skin looks.
Now with all the water I drink, I at myself in the mirror! And my eyes are so clear. I still get a charge every morning when I wake up and look would always comment on how dehydrated my skin was. To think squirting Visine in them every mask! I'll have to try it! PB, I never thought of doing a foot had a real foot problem.
When I was a lush I morning was part of my "routine".... So it is really nice to do keep the callouses down more - but nothing more than that. I am not sure what I am doing differently (except not drinking.) I - cracked underneath and painful. And they were really bad before have nice feet again.
As to the face thing, I'm not a big makeup user to begin with, in no longer have ridges. I'm also psyched that my nails in the mornings when I wash my hair. I love Aveda's Rosemary Mint shampoo, it smells soooo good fact I probably use less now - got that healthy glow thing goin. Other than that, I kind of stopped doing nice to start pampering myself a lot more.
Now I've got a bit more time I'm going so I'm going to have to improvise with something else - any suggestions? I went to three chemists and a supermarket today and nobody here sells Epsom salts, things for myself as a heavy drinker. With all the money I am saving by not drinking, I have pleasure for three straight days after it shows up in my mailbox. I have a subscription to InStyle magazine that is my guilty, trashy, non-intellectual and no alcohol has taken 10 years off!) and Phyto's anti-frizz hair treatment (great for straightening hair).
I've also discovered some really spendy products that I love-- I especially like the LaMer face cream (OMG that totally allowed myself to splurge on beauty and fashion products. I also lost some weight so I bought myself some than I like the perfumes-- the scent lasts longer and they are less expensive. I discovered that I like body lotion in the scent of my favorite perfumes better the register, but I feel so much better now that I am making a bigger effort appearance-wise. I've never been very good at spending money on myself; I still have to force myself up to Seven jeans (soooo worth the money ).
Meg, one of your pharmacists should be able expensive at all. And they are not know how much different they are than epsom salts and they are probably really overpriced. Other than that, I guess some place like Bath and Bodyworks sells soaking salts...but I don't to tell you where to get some. For my face I use Purpose which the change in weather my face was acting up.
I went to a dermatologist when I moved here because of money down the toilet! LOL! She uses Purpose and also the purpose moisterizer in the a.m. I was telling her all the stuff I was using, she laughed and told me that I was flushing is pretty much like Cetaphil. with the spf 15 makeup junkie! I loved trying new products, etc., etc. I was a little disappointed though because I am a skincare and into the advertising and falling for the false claims.
but I, like most other women around the world, was buying or spf 30. Anyway, I do wear makeup on most days so after I wash with Purpose, Exuviance - there are two, one is either green or blue and the other one is pink. The absolute best, best, best, best, best one I've found that works and is very gentle is from is great. The pink one I still need a toner to remove the rest of my makeup.
It's a little pricey, like $17/bottle but that is the internet at the Skinstore. It can be easily ordered over one thing that is totally worth it.
